Reportedly, about 70% (119 million) of Nigeria’s population
(170 million plus) are youths – evidently, this is huge. Therefore, the youths
occupy a strategic position in putting Nigeria‘s democratization on the right
path. No doubt, there has been increase in the involvement of the youths in
politics, particularly, considering the involvement of youths in the collection
of the permanent voter's card (PVCs). Also, Nigerian youths are now engaged in deliberative democracy,
